I am in the process of trying to replace the rear bumper reinforcment bar, but the bolt right above the exhaust tip is basically corroded on. I need to get the exhaust tip out of the way so I can get a better shot at the bolt. Would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

I broke 2 out of 5 of the bolts. The rust got to them. I used a ratchet for all except the one above the exhaust. I was able to remove it with a wrench and a lot of small turning actions cause it's very tight.
If you have no success with the wrench(too much rust) just cut the head. Get a hammer and something like a metal rod that has a head like a flat head screwdriver and hit it a couple of times.

That's what I thought at first, but when I got close, it looks like it is welded at 2 spots on the pipe. I could be wrong, but that is what I see. I know it is the factory tip though.

What year was yours, and did you just get behind it with a rubber mallet to loosen it, or pull from the front? Appreciate the help.
