Ok making this a new thread in “my project” the other thread was purely supposed to be 5sgte, and got a bit off track and all over the place. After a lot of research it’s coming together. For people looking for 5sgte info I will post any info related specifically to it there.

Get a clean (no rust) GT (94/95 to be “OBD1” for inspections).

Get a front ST205 clip. Pull that apart, mainly for the e154f transmission, but all the small parts too (gt4 shift cables, wiring, ect.)

Get a rear ST205 clip / AWD Conversion.

Drive the stock GT, with all the parts (to include the fuel cell, and new lines for e85…. keep reading) to someone who has done the AWD conversion. The AWD conversion is not really possible for me to do while still in the Marine Corps, lack of time and resources for something so custom. Doing this on the stock GT because I will be using a 5s block, so everything can be lined up and work with the setup I plan on running.
Sent a few PMs but looking to keep the conversion price around 5k, and 6 months (czwalga?). Again I cant do it here so if there is anyone willing to do it PM me. I am east coast, so west coasters are most likely a no go, but if its my only option…

While the AWD conversion is being done I will start buying a lot of parts from ATS and RacerX, and assembling the 5sgte on a stand.
A small list of parts – a lot more will go into it, but the larger items are listed

2.3L '98+ 5S block
Wiseco 88mm pistons
Eagle Rods
5s Crank
6266 Turbo (Ceramic BB)
RacerX Top mount Exhaust manifold (may have to extend somethings to make it fit)
ATS ‘700hp’ Head (3rd Gen)
Gen 3 S2 (274) Cams
Adjustable cam gears
ID 2000 Injectors / ATS top feed rail
RacerX Side feed manifold
Walbro 485
-8AN fuel lines. Everyone recommends Teflon for e85, still looking into it though.
Haltec (or Master ECM) EMS compatible with e85

I have a tuner down here that will work with the e85 tune, and get it where it needs to be.

>Questions Section<

As far as axles go, im pretty sure I can use the ST205 ones with the clip (using the e154f) right? Are there any upgrades to these axles? I know there are upgraded axles cages for the mr2 axles when going above 400hp. Anyone know?

Before I had heard anything about surge tanks, my plan was to run a Walbro 485, with -8an lines (over kill but gives me room in the future). Now looking into surge tanks I am reading that you only need a low pressure pump intank, to the surge tank, and then a high pressure pump either in the surge tank or inline going to the injectors.
A little confused on this, to me it seems like the high pressure pump after the surge tank would never have enough fuel if the pump in tank was ‘low pressure’ (not to say a stock pump, but less lph than the further pump.)
If anyone could clear that up, that would be great. Radium though expensive, seems like it would work great with Walbro 400 >Click here< OR (Click here)2 bosch 044 pumps. Also seems like a lot of points of failure for the fuel system. Let me know what you all think.

Still need a clutch options, haven’t looked much into that yet.

This project will start in about 8 months, but still looking for info on everything

Again thanks for anything 6gc biggrin.gif
