The biggest con would be having fumes from the battery inside the cabin of your car unless you go with a sealed battery like an Optima. Otherwise, the pros have been mentioned.

It depends on what are your goals with the relocation. It's not thaaaat much weight to spend all that time and money.
Pros: ◘ More engine space. If you are looking for that shaved engine look or some custom ducting with air pipes. ◘ A little weight shift to the back that you won't notice Cons: ◘ It's expensive, the wire should be very think in order for your car to start and get charged properly ◘ It's bulky, you'll have to fabricate some kind of a stand or place it in the spare well if you don't have one. -------------------- |

My relocation wasn't expensive at all. It was finished for under $50.

Maybe I haven't been in my car enough to notice any kinda smell from the battery I meant to say earlier but I forgot, I never smelled any fumes either. Hypothetically opening the doors/hatch should provide ventilation for the fumes, whether or not it's enough ventilation I really don't know. Just to be safe, I replaced my battery with an Optima Red top battery when my old battery wore out. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
