I've noticed my celi's gas pedal has been sticking coming from complete stops. Is there a common place to look to lube something up? I'm hoping its as simple as that and not something to do with the tranny.

try adjusting the throttle cable at the throttle body. thats the best place to start. maybe clean the throttle body too.

Clean the throttlebody. Carbon buildup usually does this. Also try some white lithium on the cable and work it into the cable conduit.

^this

i had very similar symptoms as yours. i have a point in the bend of my cable where it cracked and exposed the metal coil inside. because i dont drive my celi often sometimes a little rust or something develops i spray some wd40 in there and work the cable untill its smooth again. i find i have to do it every few months if i let the car sit.
