Hi so i'm new to all this, i just got my 94 celica st about a month ago due to me getting in a wreck with my other car and i'm more than happy with this bish! I'm also wanting to learn more about it, i've been really looking into turbo setups, like i said i'm new to all this and i need opinions/ ideas on what i need for a decent turbo. I want to slowly build it myself, not just take it into a mechanic shop or some bs like some of my friends do. All thats done to it is an Injen cold air intake, i really want to do engine work to add hp and worry about looks later (besides the rims it came with). I'm really interested in all this, so does anyone have any recomendations on what turbos to use, BOV's, intercoolers ect.

I need opinions and recomendations people, i also need to know the importants of what i need for a turbo haha i'm a virgin when it comes to this, please help and thank you!

As far as adding power to the 7A, forced induction is about your only option. Personally I'd do an engine swap, about the same cost and you get more reliable power.

If you want N/A 4 cyl go BEAMS Red Top from a st202 SSIII. (200 ish HP - Not terribly cheap, but easy)

If you want N/A 6 cyl go something like the 1MZ V6 swap. (200 ish HP - Cheap, but more custom parts - lots of people doing it atm though)

If you want to play turbos do it right and get the 3rd gen 3S-GTE out of the st205. (UNLIMITED HP - MUAHAHAHAHA tongue.gif..... seriously though, like 240 HP stock but cheaper to bump up then the other options)
