Hey guys so i'm thinking about getting my gt4 wrapped like the wrc rally car but i'm trying to decide what to do about the spoiler, my car is a 97 with a 3 post spoiler and i'm not really interested in getting my hatch welded and painted. So i'm trying to decided if i can get away with keeping the 3 post and not having the car look odd lol

IMO if you are going to do a rally style Celica it should at least have a base similar to the rally car, ie, no body kit, rally style wheels and of course the WRC spoiler/wing otherwise it just dosnt look right.

However, it's your car to do with exactly what you like, if it pleases you to go with the Rally theme then go for it, if its not quite right it's to the end of the world, maybe different colour graphics?having them all in a slightly different colour white to your car would be a nod towards the rally theme, kind of like a ghost effect.might look quite good and unique to all the other rally stickers up cars out there.

Find a hatch with the two post and call it a day. At least he's doing it to a real GT-Four and not an automatic ST. tongue.gif

automatic ST.

HA! None of your scorn for me anymore. I like Nial's "ghost" decal idea.

That's right, you've joined the ranks of real men driving not really manly cars. laugh.gif

I've always wanted to have the Castrol WRC theme, but alas we don't have the ST205 over here. A ghosted rally theme would be cool too. Being he has the ST205 you can be a little more on the outlandish side and get away with it, at least he has the power to back it up.

Now that is a definite plus smile.gif

I always believe there are two ways to do things to a car, either do it right....... if your going to make a copy/replica make it as accurate as you can. Or make it different to everyone else'sso it's unique in some way. but that's just my opinion.

you have a twin to my car, leave it alone

i looked into getting my ST-185 wrapped, after looking at other cars that have been wrapped, its not worth it. there is a 1/2 - 3/4 inch overlap between the wrap pieces. you cant see it from a slight distance but up close it looks terrible.
