To be clear, is this when you have the AC or ECON turned on? or just when bringing air into the car?
Also is the air actually HOT or is it the same temp/a little bit more than outside airtemp?

If it when the AC/ECON is on, then you may have a blown compressor... Another thing to check would be the wire leading from the back of the Climate Control Unit that controls the heat, if it is positioned wrong it can caus eit to be on Hot when it actually isn't (This happened to me after I changed my climate control lights, which required disconnecting that wire.

Is when brining air to the car.... The air is hotter than the outside temp..... In theory it has to be same that outside temp right? I don't remember disconnecting any cakes from the climate controls!!! If I turn the ac is cold.... Is just when I want air from the outside!! I hate when this happens!!

Did you remove the heater control unit and maybe forgot to connect something?

Like if you didn't hook the cable for air temperature control knob, and it's stuck on hot now?

Whenever I have air from outside, it is usually slightly warmer than the outside air... But not hot as you have described...

Maybe the part that redirects the outside air to warm it is jammed open, thus meaning always warm air? Although I suspect if this was the case, the AC air would also be warm all the time kindasad.gif

My black exterior/black interior Celica has hot air coming through the ducts on hot days. Hotter than the outside air. Even the. Ignition switch feels HOT! The AC works fine when turned on, and I've just decided it's normal. Cooler/cloudy days do not heat the ducts like hot days.
