Coilovers for an ST205 GT4 Options

Hey everyone, first time poster, I have an Australian delivered ST205 GT4 and I've been trying to research coil overs for it for the last ~3 months.

Can anyone tell me for sure what companies make bolt in coil overs for the Superstrut suspension?

I have only been able to find Tein's which I really don't want to spend $3,000 on.

BC Racing spent a few days running around trying to find out and came back to me saying they only have weld ins and the only other company I can locate are D2 which I don't know much about.

Any help would be much appreciated.

which teins did you find? the super street or the new ones.

I believe these ones are the new ones, they don't come with upper mounts.

The bc coilovers are the current flavour of the month on the GT4 OC, they get great reviews, I know the "weld in" bit sounds a bit ominous, but its an easy job for any half competent welder.

Wasn't C one the "ONLY" supplier of bolt on superstrut coilovers? I recall it was very expensive as it had the lower part of the SS as well hence why it didn't sell well. But then C One has since gone bust.
In a nut shell. There is no straight bolt on available.
I doubt the K sport one is a direct swap too. Doesn't say anything in the ad about SS and the picture is not of a SS system.

Bc racing apparently has a model built for the super strut and looks like welding is required. Ksport also has one.

I ended up buying BC Racing ER series coilovers. I figured I'd just get them welded and a mod plate as I have easy access to both. Thanks for the info guys!

I think the problem with bolt on is that they are way too expensive and it's simply more cost effective to just use weld on.
Good choice on the BC Clonyman0. Many people who had used them are happy with them.

just food for thought. but would it be possible to make a adjustable lower leg. so that when you lower height of bc coilover insert it won't affect stroke. so a seperate adjustment for height can dropped or raised with the lower superstrut control arm.
