Need to replace the factory slide-on stainless exhaust tip from my 95 GT. It looked like it was tack welded, but after some work figured out, (by mistake), that it is meant to slide in place. The tailpipe has bumps in it that the grooves on the tip slide/snap right into. I need at least a 7+ inch long tip and was wondering if anyone knew if Toyota or anyone else ever made a longer pipe that slides on like the original. If not, will get a clamp-on I guess. Thanks.

I'm actually upgrading to a Magnaflow Exhaust next or the week after. Still debating if I want to get rid of it or not. Don't know if I'll like the loud sound.

Are you going with a weld on or clamp-on style? What length are you going with?

Ima upgrade to magnaflow 14829. Ima cut it off and upgrade my whole piping to 2.25" and weld on the magnaflow. I have a GT btw. It doesn't have a clamp on tip but it's a bit bigger than the st stock on. Probably 2-2.25" tip.

Sounds great. Well maybe I am measuring my exhaust pipe wrong, but I am getting 2.5 inches from outside to outside of actual exhaust pipe. Is that correct?

Yea. I think you're talking about the actual exhaust tip. My tip is 2.5" and the stock exhaust pipe size is 1.75".
