Best I can figure is that some of the teeth on the plastic track broke off or wore down, so the gear which raises and lowers the antenna mast is slipping on a specific section. Alternately, the track may have gotten twisted inside the motor and is not allowing the mast to drop all the way. The third option, which I consider most likely, is that the top portion of your antenna mast was bent and therefore doesn't fit inside the portion below it.

Mine used to do this sometimes too, other times it would go completely down... I got sick of it's looks, opened the internal boot panel, disconnected its power source, then disconnected the antenna and re-routed it to the roof. Bought a $12 Shark-fin antenna, drilled a hole in my roof, fastened and sealed the antenna with Silicone and that is now my antenna smile.gif

I used to just physically push my antenna down the last bit when it didn't work, but unless you are prepared to break it, don't do this tongue.gif

if you still want to use radio, then you are stuck until you get a new motor. or switch to s2000 antenna.
