I want to give a big thanks to everyone who came up for the Colt State Park meet 2013 !
We had a great turnout with more than 20 6gens, 5-6 MR2s, and a few other cars.

Stef took a few pics, I know a lot of other people did.
We had 1 7afe, 4-5 5sfes, and the rest were 3sgtes (2nd gen, 3rd gen, and 4th gen) and Beams swaps, AND 2 of the 3sgtes were AWD CONVERSIONS !

members who attended

presure2 - Manny and Jenn
Batman722 - Dustin
Hurley 97 - Stephanie
lagos - Art
richee3 - Daniel and Bridgy
Tigawoods - Mike
easternpiro1 - Matt
Keiri - Brian
mgnt232 - Nick
Ted95 - Cameron
mkernz22 - Mike
Fate - Rico
RabidTRD - Ted
amilleri - Adam
CrossCudi - Martin
bnr32celica - Justin
kurt95gt - Kurt
bluecelicawife - Liz
99celiGT
pgiorgio - Peter
GMan - Brian
Jason - Jason
Black2na - Derek

There were a few more I'm sure, if I didn't list your name I'm sorry.
We had a good time at the park and I got hella drunk that night.
So many clean Celicas and the best thing about them were the people who own them. We had members who drove from NY, CT, RI, MA, PA, NC, IL, some more than 16 hours on the road to be there. I had seen people I hadn't seen in a long time and I made a lot of new friends.

Post up pics if you got em' !

I will remember this meet for the rest of my life.

It was so great to meet everyone I had always wished to meet someday.
Such a great group of people and thank you again to Dustin/Steph for putting a roof over my head and a hungry whining cat next to my ear at 6am - and Manny and Jenn for the killer get together after the meet.

Ill start off my pictures with the best one first and the one that probably sums up how everyone is feeling right now

now a few more

I have to say, it was 110% worth it. I got my mojo back. To be honest, Iwas going to abandon my project and say I'm done...but now I have more fire than ever. There's a debate I need to put to rest. wink.gif

Thanks to Manny, Jenn, Dustin, and Stef for throwing the BEST meet I have ever been to. Also, a big shoutout to Kurt and Liz for coming out, it was an honor to meet you two. Kinda scary how Kurt and I could almost pass for brothers, and yet we are in a way. Also need to shoutout Dustin for letting me drive the BEAMS. Not sure if it was a good idea, but I now have a benchmark with my swap. I think that 5-minute drive re-ignited the fire I had let burn out. I can't let you guys have ALL the fun wink.gif

Big thanks to Manny though, that crazy ****er is probably the most honest, nicest guy I have EVER met. I have a feeling I'll be seeing a lot more of him. We have lots more podcasts to do.

The heart of 6GC is in New England for sure.

Brigette and I got home an hour and a half ago. Sifting through some 128 pictures right now, I'll post them up shortly. I want to give a huge thanks to Dustin and Steff and Jenn and Manny for being excellent hosts, as well as the guys at Maaco. Manny, please pass my gratitude along to your boss and I'd love to send him an email or phone call to express our gratitude. I'll edit my post shortly with pictures.

Mike- Excellent picture of our car! Might have to steal that one for the ol' Facebook. smile.gif

The owners of the cars in my pictures are free to save and use these pictures wherever they like.

First, and foremost, an ENORMOUS thank you to tigawoods/Mike for allowing me to crash at his pad on my way up to CSP from North Carolina AND Dustin and Stef for letting me crash at their place to get some sleep before the 13hr drive back to NC, yesterday. You guys (and gal) are awesome!

Second, Manny and Jenn deserve a huge thanks for hosting an amazing meet, providing some delicious food and great conversation at said meet, and throwing an unforgettable after-party! Everything you guys did made the drive worth every second.

CSP let me meet all of the people I've been inspired by since joining in '04 and to finally meet, in person, the people I've talked to, chatted with, and bonded with on this site for years - Dan (and Brigette), Manny, Mike, Dustin, and Art.

Some selected shots from the meet are below but the rest can be found here.

Hey, it's still a work in progress. At least he drove one of his celicas. I don't blame him for not wanting to drive 15 hours with a swap that fresh.
