Recently finished replacing my rear reinforcement bar, and found that one of the small white plastic pieces that the 2 bolts, (one on each side of the rear license plate panel), is stripped. I can get the bolt to tighten down okay, but will not tighten down real firmly before it strips. I checked online, and ordered a couple of them, (called grommets). Wanted to know if these just snapped in/out, or slide out somehow. Thanks

okay, so maybe someone can answer this then. If the bolt tightens down even somewhat before stripping, and leave it at that point, do I even need to worry about replacing the grommet, or leave as is. I have it lined up pretty even, and do not want to have to remove the lights, etc. if I don't have to. Any thoughts please let me know.
