So my dad was using my 95 ST, and when he returned it the passenger's window was almost rolled all the way down. It is stuck like that and I don't know how he messed it up. The mileage is 160,7XX, and I bought it for $2000 back in July. Is this a common issue? and how do I fix it?

Ehh, not really common as far as I know of. Silly question, is the window lock switch pushed in? If that's not it it'll either be the motor or regulator.

Did you try both the driver and passenger side switches to make sure one of them isn't faulty?

Wow. Yes it was actually. It was late night yesterday when I posted this, and I didn't even bother checking this -_- But now it rolls up slowly and is noisy. I guess he tried messing with it, idk, need to talk to him.

Protip: It's much better to search Google for "site:6gc.net (keyword)" than it is to try to use the forum's search function. The search function here isn't the best. wink.gif

If its making noise, you might want to inspect the cables. Awhile back my driver one started to act up, sure enough the cable was starting to break and birdcage. Got a new assembly, took it apart, greased it up and been good ever since.

Actually happened to me too tongue.gif
Mine was halfway open, accidentally pushed the window lock button and it took me a few hours to find out what was up haha.

What sucks is that my sunroof got jammed open for almost a week when my switch blew. Couldn't find a replacement for a few days until I found one in a junkyard loll.
