anybody know if I can manage to fit 215/65-16 in my wheel wells? just curious, its 27" diameter for those who are interested...stock size is 24.46" diameter edit: I guess I could just take the radius of that and measure it against the distance between my hub and lower strut mount huh? maybe I'll try that They will not fit. A 215/55/16 would be really close at 25.3". gl thanks I've already given that idea up long ago...I move quickly -------------------- ST205 Crew represent

I am noob with tires...actually cars in general. But I am learning more and more.
Anyways, I need 4 tires all the way around. I have an ST hatchback. All these tire size numbers everyone has confuse me. I want a good tire for mostly city traffic with occasional freeway miles, and good enough for 3 hour drives to SF and LA. Around here i know i can get cool promotional deals like 4th tire for free, or get a free allignment, etc etc. so my question is, I need to know the tire size for these stock wheels |

Around here i know i can get cool promotional deals like 4th tire for free, or get a free allignment, etc etc. so my question is, I need to know the tire size for these stock wheels the first number is the tire size in mm front to back of the rim, the second number is a ratio. the height of the sidewall compared to the first number. the last number is the rim size in inches... expamle. 205/50-16 the tire is 205 mm wide. the height of the sidewall is 50% of the 205. the rim is 16" get an all season tire. look at tread wear. go to tirerack.com and educate yourself. there is a wealth of info there! -------------------- |
