I am noob with tires...actually cars in general. But I am learning more and more.
Anyways, I need 4 tires all the way around. I have an ST hatchback. All these tire size numbers everyone has confuse me. I want a good tire for mostly city traffic with occasional freeway miles, and good enough for 3 hour drives to SF and LA. Around here i know i can get cool promotional deals like 4th tire for free, or get a free allignment, etc etc. so my question is, I need to know the tire size for these stock wheels

I just got some Kuhmo KU36 215/45/17, dunno if you have them over there but they're great, don't screach and they just grip grip grip.
