I was at the junkyard this weekend and I saw a Celica with a corner sensor on the left side of the front bumper. There was also a switch inside to turn it off or on. I thought it was kind of cool, does anyone else know anything about this option?

Corner sensor as in a park sensor?
(I could be wrong though as I am always finding wacky JDM options for the celica haha ) In terms of a good option, I am a believer in If you need a sensor to help you park, and you do not have a legitimate excuse for it, then you shouldn't be driving. The same goes with rear-view cameras, turn your fat face around and look. Stupid electronic nannies. Japan had all those options due to tight parking spaces, hence the foldin mirror . They park as close to the wall as they can. Here in the us we don't have thar problem , we try to park in wide open spaces, because well.... Don't want to gothere

I stand corrected!
Pretty amazing the technology that both the US and AUS mostly missed out on during the 90's and 00's -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

Didn't mean to get everyone going, I really don't think its so functional as it is a novelty JDM option.
