Hi Guys, just thought I'd share my project with you all! I have a 1994 JDM SS-II, its got superstrut suspension, and an LSD!

I managed to save this car from the scrapyard, as my friend had it, then a wall fell on it whilst it was parked up, and the insurance company wrote it off. They paid him off and gave him the car back. He needed the space so I said I'd have it, and he gave it to me!!

I've now started the process of fixing the massive dent in the side of the car. I know its never going to be perfect, but the car was free and i'm making good progress with the repair!

This is how it was to start with (i'd pushed a lot of the dent out from the inside, but the whole panel was caved in!)

I then took all the paint off around the surrounding area (i thought to myself what have I done!! )

Then the filling/skimming started!

Pretty please with the shape of the panels now

Then it got a bit late, so I put some primer on it to protect it a bit until next weekend when it should be finished off and painted!!

Thats all for now!

I've got a few more plans for the car, such as an exhaust system, induction kit and lowering, but that will have to wait until I have finished the bodywork!

thanks for looking!

Sam!

Thanks! the bodywork is coming along nicely, hoping to have it finished this weekend! Engine runs sweet, its only got 82,000 miles on it, for a 20 year old car that isnt bad!

The only issue ive found with it is the suspension is knocking from the front drivers side. it only does it at really low speed, any ideas? its got superstrut, so maybe the figure 8 needs replacing from what ive read?

Here's a photo of its good side! I've photoshopped it to be lowered about 40mm. I should be buying the springs in the next month!

Nice one thanks, I will get a pair for the front then and have them all matching! Another question! How do you remove the front bumper, is it and easy job?

It's not that hard, if you have the right tools. There are two threads about how to remove it, look for them in the stickies.

Right, Its about time i gave you guys some updates!! The car is all one colour again, its just needs polishing to get it shining the same as the rest of the car, but I will do this on saturday.

Here are some pics of the car as it stands!

Got a bit of overspray on the rear bumper, but I will polish that off!

Also tinted my headlights yellow, but ran out of film to do the fogs! So I need to order some more!

You can barely see the dent now, and if you didnt know it was there i dont think you would notice!!

Let the real modding commence!
