Just like the topic says. I think there is a curse for those people that do the GT4 front end conversion here in the states. IF you don't believe me i know of AT LEAST 4 people that have UNFORTUNATLY had BAS luck since they did the conversion.
I am the 1st on the list to prove the curse. I had the Hood and bumper since about June of '03 with no problems besides the gap. BUT ONE WEEK, EIGHT DAYS later after i get my entire car painted and kit put on I leave my hood unlatched and it blew open on the freeway and this is what it looks like.. And unfortunatly there is MORE damage that to the fenders and hood but for now thats what i can show you. Next is Natalie (hope you dont get mad at me for posting this). She has had a few little things happen to her. She has bent her rims, the car wash scratched up her entire passenger side, and the accident she was in a while back (think that was before the conversion tho). She is number 2. There is a guy from celica.net, Roger, that hit a deer or something as big. I think he said it was late at night. But here is what his looks like now I think he did order another one though. Last is our beloved KUYA1284 (RAY). Probably one of the nicest 6gen on our site and out there. To start off it took him almost 2 years to get his car up and running. Then within 2-3 days after he gets his car back, he goes and drives onto a road that is under construction, his car didnt clear it and it pretty much F'd up is driverside skirt. I think that there are more stories out there especially in celica.net about hitting stuff but those are the ones that i know of for SURE. Lagos i don't mean to scare you but those are the facts!! I wonder if the curse is for those who do the entire front end.
Cause i'm just gonna put the GT4 hood, and get a Zapt bumper. I just hope this combo does'nt fall under the curse too. o_0 |

one time my hood flew up, the whole latch became unbolted from the frame, it landed on my windshield and busted it in on me at 70 mph, it also bent my fenders back, and put a couple of dents in my roof
so I'm unlucky without the gt-4 conv. so I guess I prolly shouldn't do it --------------------

To add to the curse list, Natalie told me that someone was NICE enough to key her hood one time also! A$$holes!! But oh well thats the price we pay for looking good. David |
