Was driving and then parked to go into the store. Came back out and started the car up just fine, but When I try to put it in first...the stick wouldn't engage in first...it goes straight to third gear...I try forcing the stick to first and second, but it just goes to third gear if I try for first and for second gear, it goes to fourth gear. I push the stick to neutral and slide it to the left side, it stays stuck on the far left in neutral. If i go right, it bounces back to neutral in the middle...hopefully I haven't confuse anyone reading this...I changed my cluctch 2 years ago and did the new flywheel, pressure plate and clutch (Spec 2)...did my clutch go out?

Didn't want to open up the tranny if it might be something else. drove home rev the engine until it was fast enough to use my third gear...had to be constantly moving to increase speed up so I can use third and fourth gear to drive, other-wise, 1 and 2 is out.

Any thoughts...will i have to replace my clutch again? shift links looks good.

look at the shifter assembly, one of the pins might have come out.

check the linkage an the trans.

if you can shift normally between 3rd and 4th and 5th, then the clutch should be ok. check linkage, cables, and the shifter assembly
