ive changed the cluch on my 93 clecica gt, during this ive removed the battery obviously, now ive put everthing back as was, and the hazards are flashing and there is dash lights when turning key but makes no attempt to start. any ideas?

93 models have immobilizer? Dont You have illuminated ring around ignition lock?

I think ring is illuminating, but there's nothing when I turn key, dash lights come on but doeant crank, and hazards are constantly flashing

93 doesn't have immobilizer. Sounds like you have an alarm. You have to deactivate it.

Right, well I believe I have an alarm attached to strut brace, it has 3 wires going to it, red black and brown gown would I go about removing?

If he has an alarm that prevents the car from starting, that is an Immobilizer... If it was just an alarm then it would just set it off, but still allow the car to run...
Also I am not too sure, as I have never done it, but if you simply cut it out, I do not think that it would disengage... Could be wrong though...

Find out if it is after market or factory alarm. If it is aftermarket, pull the brain out and it should fix your problem.

When i hear immobilizer, i think of the newer cars with a chip in the key.
