I read on some consumer auto website, that there was a specific service bulleting pertaining to 94-96 celicas about an auto trans problem. It said that the shifting may become "harsh" in the trans. I've got about 63k on my odometer and i've noticed shifting has become a little harsh, as in the car will pause for a second when it's shifting unless i ease up on the gas a little. Would this be indicative of problems in the transmission or does it just need a fluid change? I haven't done that yet, the car has been in the shop and i've been pretty poor. Anyone else heard about this service bulletin or know a site where I can look it up at?

i never heard of that problem.. but i do know that the ST auto tranny do tend to jerk when it's really cold out.. then after a few minutes of driving she gets a nice and smooth. but you can check consumer reports they have a list of all the recalls and major problems on cars.
