New battery got it started. Barely. There is a high pitched squealing sound when the engine turns on. Is it a pulley? At first I thought it was the oil, so I topped it up. The starter is fine too. I cannot get it to run though. Is this an easy diagnosis? The burning smells like rubber. How much to fix at a shop? Or can I do it myself? Thanks.

sounds like the alternator or power steering pump or air cond etc may have a frozen bearing or possibly just have a loose belt, check for loose belts, if all tight, start it up and look to see if something is not turning under the hood?
