Hi all!
Someone was able to hit my Celica when he/she was parking and some paint came off ![]() The previous owner had the car repainted, but it appears the paintjob was of poor quality and there are some drips on the paint. I would like to get these out or just make them less visible but I'm afraid I'll mess it up even more, some tips for that would be great too. If it'll be too much of a hassle I'll just leave it like it is. There appears to be a plastic plate on the bottom of the car. I think it's there to cover the enginebay, although I'm not sure. Some of the bolts holding the plastic are missing and I want to replace them. Anyone knows a partnumber or just what bolts to get? (they look like a hex but could be Torx too, didn't took a good look). I could post a picture if needed. Thanks! ![]() |

if its a factory paint color i've had great results with these folks.
http://www.ebay.com/usr/touchup1 their paint is a bit thin so you'll have to build it in layers. but if its got runs in it you may wanna have it wetsanded and buffed and the under panel bolts i'm pretty sure are just 10mm bolts, your better off taking one off and running to a hardware store than paying the dealership hope that helps This post has been edited by JasonTX: Dec 17, 2013 - 10:12 AM -------------------- JN 3:16

Have you applied a clear coat over the touch up?
They sell touch up clear also. The clear gives the glossy look you're looking for. |

I've noticed that the car was quite poorly maintanced so I'm not sure if spending any more money is really wise, I might just leave it as it is and just get another one soon! Figured pulling a bolt out and taking it to a store seemed like a great idea but if I do the panel will probably fall of under the way ![]() i'll see if I can put it on stands so I can actually fit under the car and fix it Have you applied a clear coat over the touch up?
