So, I was driving home after getting my new wheels and decided to go to Canadian Tire to buy some replacement 7443 bulbs for my new taillights that came with dud bulbs. The parking garage had thicker-than-usual speed bumps, and whenever I rolled over one slowly, I could hear a squeaking from my front left wheel section. It sounded as if you were to jump around on an old mattress. Squeaky squeaky squeaky!

Suspension area for sure. Fig 8s? Banana-rama arms? Bushings? Ideas?

On a side note, turns out that I need new rotors as well (yay). Found out when I inquired about Hawk brake pads while my car was up on the hoist. The pads look new, but the rotors have worn enough that you can feel a small lip on the outer rim. Bunk!

I'll get my suspension checked out at a local Japanese shop when I get to replace my rotors.

you need a new usdm bumper and hood, the jdms are squeaking... trash them, tell me where....

the figs of 8 are hard to find. maybe go over the supension and lube the areas that need lube.. it may be just springs. but since you are driving in the snow it may make probls worse.

Hah. Ok. I'll let you know when I swap my stock bumper and hood with USD replacements. wink.gif

As for the snow, it's all gone now and probably won't snow much for the remainder of the season here. Only rain unless we have another cold-snap from the Pacific ocean

After a little searching, I think my first step is to check out my bumpstop. Will replacing the bumpstop be something I can do on my own in my garage with limited tools? Seems as if working on the springs can be very dangerous if the proper precautions aren't taken.
