Has anyone ever ordered parts directly from a performance shop in Japan on items that are unavailable in any other countries? The shop websites I have been looking on list items but require you to contact them to order OR fill out an order form (where the shipping address only allows you to select provinces in Japan)

Just curious if its worth the trouble inquiring on products or just give up.

Any tips?

I used to regularly get parts from a shop called nengun in japan, delivery can take a few weeks but never had any issues with them.....but they only really do performance parts. If you want body panels, suspension parts etc then TCBparts.co.uk is a great source for parts as is cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk

Just trying to find a couple things in preparation for race season next spring.
I had searched on a few of those sites with no luck.
I need to find a friend who lives in Japan who can maybe buy the parts from the shop and then send it to me, maybe I will give cww180 a shout

I sourced my projectors directly from japan using a middle man for shipping. Check out Yahoo.co.jp and their auctions. I found all kinds of stuff on there that i want but dont have money for...
If you can't find a middle man you can use Mailorderjapan.com and just pay their fees and shipping cost. I've use them before and they were pretty good about packaging and shipping. Just create an account and you can manage what you bid on, for bidding you just need to pay half upfront of the price you're willing to pay for the items. If you don't like it you can just ask them for a refund. They'll explain more on the website.

Whatre you looking for?

silly tiga just buy some american made boots. wants to get aisics this guy.

ok so im trying to inquire a aftermarket exhaust for st202 but finding one is hard. this is a list of current places that sell and deal with toyota engines, body panels, accessories and so forth and none of them had luck except one.

I'd like to work with north america company if possible as shipping is fastest. I've been lurking on nengun and haven't found anything. I'm guessing going through yahoo auctions japan as mentioned by cyberblade is my last resort for now????

Venus Auto (I have to call back on 1/10/2014
Osaka JDM Motors (nothing)
Japan Direct which is same as Japanaese performance engines (Nothing)
JDM Engine Depot (nothing)
Japan Motor Import (Nothing)

Why not deal with shops in the UK? shipping is fast enough, Celicas are popular over here, parts are plentiful, there are a few good reputable shops that sell just about everything, if you are ordering from outside the UK you dont need to pay VAT

you don't pay vat if your ordering outside of UK wow awesome i was told i had to

anyway that mongoose probably good as it does have mandrel bends, but i don't like dual tip exhausts one bit. im also looking for over the rear subframe aftermarket exhaust like oem

i sent them an email about an e56 axles and they said they didnt have any. i'll shoot them another email to see if they can source an aftermarket exhaust

Personally, if you want an good aftermarket exhaust I would enquire about getting one custom made, I had a custom stainless one made for a Toyota Corolla I had once, cost me £20 less than buying a ready made off the shelf stainless exhaust, see if you can track down a good custom exhaust place local to you and pay them a visit, you might be surprised how affordable it can be. The. You get something quickly, American made and exactly how you want it to be.

Try Mikes Hi Performance Exhaust in Florence.
