Hey guys so I am 17 and I really love my vert, when I bought it, it needed a lot of work that I did not know about, exterior and motor are in really good shape, just interior was a pest! So Anyways this is my project I am going with a blue and black theme since blue is my favorite color! Before you judge on my age yes I am 17, no I do not know everything on my car, but the only way you learn is do it yourself right! So when I got my car, the seats were all ripped, the top was damaged, the interior panels were scratched up badly, leaked water, top frame was cracked, was missing lots of bolts, had regulators held up by hangers lol. So I am doing before and after. I lucked out on a part out for a 97 celica vert with all the stuff I needed I payed 500 for mint leather black seats, speaker panels, new back mint seats, new top swapped with whole frame, new door sill rockers, new mint sun visors, and the back catch thing incase top leaks I guess. So I swapped my old useless parts on theirs only way they would let me part out but my top had about a half tank of water in my shop vac before I went down to get it, now I installed all this on my own and know how to do it correctly but here is my whole project. I want to get the interior and exterior done first because I want to not have much hastle and I could probably get the engine done since I have a lot of help with that quickly as long as I have the parts, Let me say I have a 99 vert as it says with the 8 speaker package, all black, all leather, 5spd, ss3 front bumper stock... I will be buying parts since my tops done and setting aside for summer or nice days where no rain nice t shirt weather out since we have snow, my celica is my daily driver until I get it done and buy a car for a dd and have the celica as a weekend car. I have all my parts listed out on paper of what I want to custom make it so Its going to be a surprise but unique! Ill post some before and after pictures soon!

ok, good luck....

just do what i did, lol. Just kidding. Verts are kinda special in the part department. Some parts are overpriced, so if you see one in a yard, snatch as much as u can..

A tear of joy comes to my eye anytime someone rescue's a neglected vert lol. You can convert the images at tinypic.com and load them here. Anyways good luck with it. They're a dying breed of special cars.
