I've started installing my JDM power folding mirrors today and I've run into a problem. I'm not sure, but it seems like I have a relay box (part number 20060) that is for a 7 wire mirror, but the mirrors only have 5 wires. The thing that's confusing is that none of the wire colors on the mirrors match up with anything on the relay. I have a blue and a red wire coming out of both mirrors that controls the folding operation (when polarity is reversed, they fold/open). On the relay, I have a blue and a red wire that match up, but only one set. I also have a green, brown, and multiple other wires that don't seem to attach anywhere. I've included some pictures to show what I've got. Does anybody have any ideas how to wire this? Do I have the wrong relay?

the wires on the relay should match up the wires in the mirrors..

are you sure you have the right pigtail. dude your pics are so small i cant see... either photobucket resizes them or idk

here you can see my relay colors. each side has 4 wires. for the mirrors, and they go on an x pattern. the pink wire is for the module and the white/black and blue/yellow are for power....

unfortunately our door harness are not wired for a 7 wire mirror or a 5 wire mirror, JDM mirrors that use this relay have 7 wires. you have to run these wires... Some JDM mirrors with the 5 wires dont need this relay, but need a special switch.

so your relay wires will match to the pigtails of your jdm mirrors with 7 wires, not to the wires in your 5 wire mirrors..

i think you have a combination of both.

here is a pic of my pigtail for the mirrors, as you can see it has 7 wires...

here on the left side, with the pink wire, is the pigtail of my folding button. It looks like yours.

so either you get the 7 wire mirrors, or you get the folding button that does not have the pink wire. Maybe someone with the 5 wires can help u. cant remember if ricochet has the 5 wires.

I hope i did not confuse you more...

Thanks , I think I have a better understanding now. From your pics I think I have a 7 wire switch and relay but 5 wire mirrors. I'll post some better pics later, if that will help you.
