I personally wouldn't buy it but I'd like to see more specs. Fwd, RWD, or AWD? True manual trans? Five or six speed? If Kia was to put this into production then it might bring some life back to the small sports coupe market. Toyota may have to give new life to the tC and it could speed things up with Nissan reviving the S chassis. I may just be hopelessly dreaming but I'd like to see more expansion in the small inexpensive sports coupe market.

I saw a video on the Stinger a few days ago. Looks like it's a 2+2, is FR, has a 2.0L turbo w/ ~315hp mated to a 6spd manual trans, independent suspension, Brembo calipers, and a weight of ~2900lb. Who knows what'll be refined if there's a serious production model coming.

I'm reasonably excited for this new Kia.
