I haven't had to pull mine yet, but it's under the back seat from what I've read. I'd show you the thread but I can't seem to find where I read that RTM.
look at the manual on Celicatech.com it should be in there somewhere. I think you just have to pop the lower part of the back seat out.

One time I was digging out my back seat and I found the port to the fuel pump. I thought it was a neat place to hide drugs but I didn't mess with it.

the fuel pump is under the back seat, unless u have a GT4. u lift up the back seat and you see the cover. remove that and the fuel pump is mounted to the bracket along with the fuel level sender.

BE WARNED! Wear gloves eye protection and probably a breathing mask for a powerful fuel smell will attack you with everything it has

I was a boss and did it without gloves or eye protection. You should leave the doors and lift open though to let the fumes escape, you wouldn't want a smelly interior would you?

ok what is the question? where is the fuel pump?

its in the diagram above. if you lift out the back seat, unbolt the small fastners and lift out the assembly, the pump will come with it. there will be a sock on the bottom. that is NOT the fuel filter. its just a sock to prevent big items getting in pump. the filter is in the engine bay right next to the charcoal cannister (94-98)

the 99 celicas have a newer canister under the gas tank
