I have a 96 GT... bought some cool custom leather seats but the previous owner removed all the adjustment hardware... so, the local wrecking yards seem to only have convertibles... are the seats exactly the same? Thanks in advance

The seats are the same between all models, but the seats and seatbelts changed for all models in '96. The rails attach to the seats differently. If you get a different set of seats, you either need to get the matching seatbelt or swap the belt latches in the seats.

I also thought there was a difference between cloth and leather seats. The back is different but not sure about the bottom.
Never mind. Re-read the post. You got complete seats not just seat covers. |
