Hello 6gc'ers,

Got in the car this morning to find random peices of plastic and a little metal tab inside the car and found out my lovely girlfriend has managed to break the cupholder, storage thing - whatever it's called.

I'm writing to ask a favor from a kind user on here who is willing to post me some photos.

I took a look around dismantling the piece and the plastic bits are from the lid that i have put back together, however i have no idea where this tiny tab comes from and my issue is, when I'm driving now, every time I brake, the cup holders slide out from the spot and come out all the way, there is no resistance keeping them in. I cannot have a drink in the holders anymore (even tho they are useless because once a drink is in there, changing gears is a hassle) because the drink will slide up and down with the holders everytime i speed up and accelerate.

I am asking someone if they could please post a photo of the underside of the cupholders and show me whats keeping them in place, so i can figure out a way of fixing this.

I will take some photos now and get to uploading them to show whats broken because my explanation here seems really bad.

If I don't feel like death warmed over tomorrow I'll try to get some pictures for you. It's no great loss though, they're only halfway useful during highway cruising anyway.

I've sort of accidentally abandoned this thread, because just as I was going to post a pic of how its broken, I figured how to put it back together, The pins were on the side that gave resistance to the cup holders sliding, I used some glue to put them back into place and now its back to how it was smile.gif

I completely forgot I made this post, but Box and Batman, thanks for the replies
