Just got home with my celica and I was going to hook up my bluetooth obd2 module and I can't find the port so my question is can it be relocated or is it more likely that the motor was swapped with and obd1
Thanks in advice guys

Obd2 ports are usually under the steering wheel/dash. Like your head under where the gas pedal is at and you'll see it.

Right just like on the other 97 I have I just haven't been able to locate it so I'm trying to figure out the likelihood of it being re located, removed or if the previous owner swapped motors and went with an obd1 which seems like it would be more trouble than its worth

its highly doubtful that it was swapped back to ODBI, and even if it was there would be no point in removing the port.

All the paperwork I have says it a 97 all the obvious vin numbers match and according to auto check it's a 3 owner car that has never been in an accident. I can't see any reason why a car with as much care as this one has had would have needed a motor. I'm hoping it's just tucked away because I live in an emissions County and they have to run that through the obd2vif it doesn't have one I'll have to add it or have a car that I can't register

Maybe the previous owner kicked it and it broke off so its hanging somewhere inside the panel? Stick hour head in there again with a flash light.

I finally found it. It was unmounted and tucked away inside the center console I had to take the bottom of the dash apart to trace all the wires and also noticed that the is a Gps device installed that I'll have to figure out to disable it
