so I finally got some time with the right weather to install the rear motor mount that's been in my trunk for a month now.
I had replaced the front mount just before it got cold and had not time to do the rear. and the rear was a freaking Chore ! finally I figured out that I needed to take loose the bottom of the front mount too and remove the whole center support so that I could get the rear mount in/out, thought I was stuck for a minute. So I know the front and rear mounts are new, and the right side is a solid mount (had that apart when I did the timing belt) I have not replaced the transmission mount on the left side, although it doesn't look bad, but maybe I can't see it until I really take it all the way out. but the deal is even after replacing the rear I still get a bit of a clunk when I shift. Is there anything else that could cause it or do you think its just that transmission mount? or is it something inside the transmission? thanks - after driving it today I think it's not too bad at all, probably just needs a new trans mount as well. ...idk if I'm in a hurry to get back under there and put inserts in there, I kinda like it a little flexible.
