So this morning my celi died on me. It started just fine and I drove it to my girlfriend's place. then I got ready for work and went to start it again and nothing. looks just like it's a dead battery but pretty sure that's not it since I JUST drove it and the battery is a few weeks old only.

Seems like it doesn't get enough power to anything. lights dim and flicker, every once in a while they will come on and stay on full power though. but if I go to start the car, everything dies. car doesn't turn over or anything. also, I'm hearing some clicking almost like it's shorting sometimes when I turn the lights on. this was my diagnosis for the 5 minutes I had before I had to go to work so any help would be appreciated?

bad distributor? alternator? starter? relay?

jiggle the wires around on the battery and try starting it again. Might be a loose connection..

I'm gonna be so pissed and relieved if it's just something simple like that. I can only hope. Will try doing that and cleaning the terminals after work.

if not, any other suggestions?

ugh... you guys were right. turns out it was a loose connection
and also LOTS of corrosion built up underneath. Just didn't see it.
baking soda and water and it's all good. - relief!

guess 6 in the morning is too early to think straight.

I love it when the solution is just a little cleaning as opposed to buying a ton of new parts.
Glad you got it figured out. I had the same problem when I first got my car on the road, and it only cost me $8 for a terminal cleaner, albeit me buying a $90 Noco Genius battery charger.
