So I know there's already a post your slammed thread out there, but how many of us are REALLY STANCED? Are there other guys or girls on here slamming there celi's, or poking and stretching their tires. I was fortunate enough to live in Japan for four years and actually watch this trend develop from the K-cars to the drifters, the cholo honda accords on the tiny spoked daytons(yes I said and they were pretty nicly built), to your everyday DD they were out there. Granted this trend has been round for years but recently in the late 07' is when it really started to grow. Never did I expect it to grow this large. And Im falling in love with it more and more which has me deciding to take my project in that direction. With a decent drop on my megans, some new 18s, and low profile streched tires.
Again is there any members that are STANCED? Also what is everyone elses opinion on this trend. http://youtu.be/T7JNZboSuRk http://youtu.be/V-V3kilkeaM http://youtu.be/QGj9qX6_9GQ http://www.stancenation.com/ This post has been edited by Lil-Joe101: Mar 15, 2014 - 10:50 PM -------------------- From Japan to Texas my st202 follows me.

I'm stretched and stanced but not slammed. This is my lowest without the ugly uber negative camber.
My setup is Advan SA3 17x8 +38F & 17x9 +31R. Got 15mm spacers all around. Lowered on Megan Racing Coilovers. Rear has eibach camber bolt maxed out it's positive camber. Stretched on 205/40/17 all around Saffiro tires. -------------------- |

Thanks RabidTRD. I'm planning on running 16" wheel next and go stupid low. Might run on the same tire size as you. Maybe 16x8-9.5. Stupid stretch and stupid low. Sounds nice. Lol.

the title to this thread sounds more like some kinky videos Dude I almost choked on my dinner when I read this OMG. Oh yeah Ted I changed it up a bit. Rather than 18x8 Im gonna go 18x9 +38 5x100 with a 205/35R18 tire, should still be a good stretch with the low profile Im seeking. And I found these rims in the dimensions I stated. I think they'll compliment the car whole lot better than silver too, plus I found $50 dollars cheaper. This would look really good dropped about 2 more inches with a bit of negative camber in the rear to have the wheel tuck up to the fender -------------------- -Protection mode, For when your amp tries to blow its load. 1995 Toyota Celica GTS - Daily Driver 1999 Chevy Cavalier - Winter Beater 1994 Honda Civic CX Hatchback - Dead My Celica! |

I can't physically go lower with that wheel setup until I raise the exhaust a bit lol. The rears def need a bit more camber. I'll be adjusting that in the spring.
2" more and the subframe would be 1" or less above the ground. Any diviot, I'd beach the car lol Actually, hmm... I'll have to look at it again. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles. Excuses If its not touching the ground, it can be done. I've driven audi's less than an inch from the ground, its sketchy, but still doable. It's hard to daily a car that low here. Lots of holes and ruts. Trust me, I live in Winnipeg, Canada. Our roads are beyond terrible, I just didn't want to add the cliche "and our roads suck here" comment. Still lower is better. -------------------- wow . teespring.com/savethemanual

Colder, and more of a freeze thaw than New York, Yeah idk about you being colder with more of a freeze thaw lol. We have a guy from Alaska that says Rochester is worse than Alaska. He says it's bone chillingly cold here compared to the -50 it gets there. Primarily because we have lake effect wind... When you have a 30 mph -40 degree wind blowing against you when it's 5 degrees outside, it's pretty impossible to move. Also, it'll go from 50 to -10 over night (it did it 3 times this winter) and back to 30 again. There are so many potholes this spring, idk what I'm going to do lol. Trust me, it's bad here lol. Yesterday was beautiful, today we got a fresh dumping of snow. It gets to -50 C here and we get awful prairie winds. I've perfected the "walking with your back to the wind" walk. This winter has been especially bad and has been fluctuating for the past couple months so the roads are full of ridiculous potholes that will swallow your entire car. I do not wish how awful this city is upon anyone lol.
