Is there any other alternative ways to having AC if i was to remove the AC compressor as I want to use that space for something else?

The heat from the inside is absorbed through the evaporator coil into the refrigerant and then pumped to the condenser where the heat is released.
So the condenser coil gives off a great deal of heat, and so it needs lots of air flow across it.
I really don't know where else you could put it if it was not in the nose of the car. Unless maybe you want to mount it to the roof laugh.gif

its a compressor, so i'm sure you could find an electric compressor that you wire up somewhere to do the same job.
But all intensive purposes, I'd venture to say the answer is no not really.

answer = get rid of your AC

at very least it would mean redesigning a lot of the system.
an electric compressor would have to run several amps of electricity which could mean a bigger alternator to generate power, which they make for car audio systems, but realistically I don't think you could do that.
and you would need some sort of special compressor.

Hey now, Winnipeg isn't winter all year. There's also blackfly season.

Unfortunately, I'm expecting to visit Winnipeg in early May, when it may still be frozen if the current weather is any indication.

Unfortunately I'll be out there for work -- five days of training and after-hours networking. And no Celica, driving it out from B.C. would be a bit much.
