I'm sure I can't beat azian_advanced and his "how-to-do"s , however I belive at least one person will appreciate that (am I right Tina? )
Let's do some work... 1. useful equipment : a) well known fog lamps part numbers: R 81210-20280 L 81220-20270 b) lamp brackets (you can also see already installed fog light wire from factory! just plug-and-play) part numbers: R 52015-20310 L 52016-20150 c) 6 screws (I don't know what "international marking" is, but we call them "size 10") 2. checking some details... If you want install them "by the book" you will need: a) fog light relay b) fog light switch c) fuse (20A) locations... relay... switch... and fuse... if you don't have anything, prepare to pay about USD140 part numbers: *if you don't want to pay that amount see "second choice" way at the end (point 5) 3. switch swap, easy thing, just screwdriver needed... remove all necessary screws, disconnect plug with wires and just pull multi-switch out... For relay you will not need any tool. Just plug it in (it's "dumb-proof", can't plug it wrong )... 4. everithing done. Now just see how nice it works 5. "second choice" way. If you don't want to spend money for multifunctional switch swap and relay, just buy any switch/button and rake up some wires... a) wires connect like this... (short circuit of contacts shown below, turns your foglights on )... b) ...and if you add to the "short circuit" any switch... ...you have working foglights also ***warning*** : if you forget turn your foglights off (leaving a car), you kill your battery! There is no "warning sound" like headlights has... Hope sticky this... This post has been edited by malpaso: Jan 26, 2013 - 3:34 PM -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is awesome, i guess the only thing that could be added is if you dont have the stock wires in the bumper area to hook in. Cuz i dont think i do =(. But nice write-up.

Firstly, that was a great write-up!
Just to let you people know, 94-95 USDM Celica's do not have any wiring for fogs. So, if you want fogs, you have to wire the whole thing That said, it is really not that hard! I just went out to PEPBOYS and bought a little wiring kit, maybe like $10 at most! btw, here is a pic of the 94-95 JDM st202 fogs (only "stock" fogs for our bumper -- kinda rare too ): On my car: ~snap This post has been edited by snapshotgt: Jun 26, 2006 - 12:12 PM -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ

snap do you have any more info on the install? I think this how-to should include a little section for the 94-95 guys that dont have the harness already installed.

The two pins on the fog lights that go into the bracket are held in place by a fastener. You need two fasteners per side.
The part numbers for these are: 90075-10817 Cost: 1.90 CAD This post has been edited by vile_v: Jul 22, 2008 - 12:35 AM -------------------- |

Mine are aftermarket as well (judging by the non-stock switch), so I'm kind of intrigued by the answer.

ok just to be clear, you only use the 2 prongs on the switch or does it have to be grounded
