If you remember from my last thread and the fact I sold the car, I am still trying to solve the tail light problem for the people I sold the car too. Well come to find out, if you move wiggle the wires under the steering column the tails come on and off, and same with the headlights which currently arent working as well. Anyone know what would cause this or able to get a picture of what I should be messing with to fix.

Sounds to me the wires to the switch don't make a good connection. Might be the switch itself.

Sounds like the clock spring wires.

It wouldn't be a clockspring issue, since the wiring for the headlight/turn signal stalk never passes through the clockspring.
Do the running lights work? Do the front turn signals come on as running lights? Sounds like it may be time to get a multimeter out and start testing the switch, as Teo said. That or a relay, but I would think the switch is a more likely culprit. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
