So i have a 99 celica gt. The driver side seatbelt went kapoop and has 0 tension on it. I was told from a member that the 96-99 celica seatbelts are the same but have two different part numbers. The 6gc member work at a toy dealer and he assumes the two diff part # from that year are for st and gt celica. Or maybe cause of convertible?

They should all be the same, the only reason I would assume two part numbers is Left and Right and Front or Back

I have the same problem. The only time it'll roll back into the car is when I turn off my engine or close my door. Seems like the vibration is what shakes it and make it roll back in. Lol. I want to get this repaired also. there's time where I drive around with a VERY loose belt.

this is the 73220-20720-C0 i got from a local toyota dealer. and when i go to toyota diy it pulls up that it will fit 1996-1999 Celica GT and ST and 94-97 Celica ST
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/xref?v=U_1999...;s=7322020720C0 so then its only 96-99 celica seatbetls that work on celica's This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: May 28, 2013 - 1:23 PM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

Ok So here are the Differences between the 1997 Celica ST and 1999 Celica GT Seatbelts.
The Top is 97 Celica ST and Bottom 99 Celica GT ![]() Mounting point at the bottom, next to seat rail.
