What side of the engine does the fuel rail attach to the fuel filter in the 5SFE 2.2L? Is it the Timing belt side of the engine, or the transaxle side?

the transmission side. it comes off the filter into the rail right behind the distributor, then the FPR on the timing belt side sends the relief fuel back along the rail to the return line.

The 3sge is backwards. That is why the 5sfe fuel line is shorter than 3sge
