We have a red 6th gen convertible.
We know the clutch is going, and the timing belt needs service (non-invasive so not critical to catch before it busts). We'd like some free expert advice if you have a few moments to help us pick out any required tools and parts to get the job done. Since we are in Arizona, we were thinking of using http://www.azautohaus.com. But are open to whatever. I'm a home garage mechanic guy, but my most useful tool by far is google. We have about 165,000 miles on it. Thanks |

As long as you have a decent selection of metric wrenches and sockets you should be good with doing the timing. On doing the clutch I forget the size you need in order to get the CV axles out, but it's like upper 20's low 30's mm if I recall correctly. While you're there doing the timing I'd go ahead and replace the water pump as well. As far as parts go the Exedy clutch kit is good, and I'd probably go with OEM for the timing kit and water pump.
