Park it up next to the road for sale and hope someone hits it. Throw some sand and gravel on the road or water when it's cold enough to ice over.

I suppose I'll update my paper saying I'll trade, that and should submit to the Hell that is Craigslist as well. I'm ready for it to be gone at this point, if someone I knew wanted it I'd practically give it away.

I hate selling cars on Craigslist. I'm currently helping my brother sell his Mazda and dealing with idiots is irritating

Exactly, which is why I just moved the car ten feet closer to the road with an updated printout and won't be making a Craigslist listing.

It's still probably a good ten feet from the road, that and the ditch was dug out not too long ago so they'd really have to try. I just have one of those For Sale signs in the window so I dunno, maybe with it closer more will see it. I do know I'm ready for it to turn into something with fuel injection and a manual transmission.

I don't want to deal with Craigslist though...

Prototyping the horn mounting bracket to situtate the air horn where it needs to be for full volume and minimum visibility. I had though about just laying it right out in the open all chrome but that\'s a little too redneck, this isn\'t some old Camaro. Using some thin aluminum that\'s easy to bend to make a mock up bracket so I can make the real one out of some cold rolled steel to bolt to the car, aluminum is just stuck in place with some foam mounting tape to act as a second pair of hands while I work. Pictures in a few.

Craigslist can be irritating but also can get you results. I relisted my brothers Mazda today and sold it. It's worth a shot

I guess, but the first person that calls and asks what's my lowest price before coming and seeing it in person I'm going to explode on their ass.

I got that a lot too and my response is always,"I'm negotiable on the price and I'll accept any reasonable offer." That usually ends that right there but there are idiots who continue to still press on about it.

Usually I just tell them that they should come see the car in person to properly assess what the car is worth to them, or if they keep on I just flat out tell them I don't negotiate over the phone. That's ok what's really annoying is getting asked questions that the answers are clearly covered in the listing, I didn't throw all of those words up there for fun. At times I wish there was a button you could press that'd playback Samuel L. Jackson saying, "English Mutha****a, do you speak it!?"

Yeah I understand that. Its quite irritating. However if you deal with all the crap you can usually find a good buyer. Its worth a shot I mean.

laugh.gif That's what I should do.

I got a text about an hour ago and it's just a picture of a Mercury Mountaineer, nothing else to go with it. I didn't even put anything about trading in the listing since that just brings about more trouble than it's worth, since there's only specific cars I'd want. In fairness it looked nice so they're not crazy, just not what I'm looking for.

made a prettty bracket at work today, mounted the horn, recycled the mock up bracket into a mounting loop to hold the trumpet from ever getting pushed back into the condenser. gave up about an hour and a half ago because I was getting too tired and lost my focus to work. I'll run the power and ground cabling and relay tomorrow evening and reassemble the bumper to the car, might need to change a bolt to a rivet if it gets in the way of the bumper cover or get a lower profile bolt.

Idea..... take it! (Or something else boring worth what yours is) Who cares if you like it or not, just make sure it is mechanically sound and nice enough to sell quickly. Then they can take your very hard to sell car that needs work and you can sell a normal car instead that won't give you so many headaches.
