I'm not sure why he wants just the tip though, I figured he'd have told me to go all in.

And get the Meguiar's too, just for clarification.

That's ok, can't decide on one anyway.

Looking through the never ending supply of car crap there's some Griot's compound that says it's for medium-heavy defects that had never been opened. Then there's still the Meguiar's swirl remover and glaze and some Meguiar's and Griot's wax, then between the clay mitt and detailer etc... it's not like I don't have stuff sitting around already that'd do close enough as the other I was looking at buying. So exhaust tip it is. Question is, which one...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ONE-STAINLESS-STEE...LfF&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Dual-sta...kHM&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Burnt-Exhaust...9Qb&vxp=mtr

Of course those aren't the best prices on any of them, but they were the listings with the best pictures. At least I've decided on wanting a dual slant tip. laugh.gif

I know that feel. I spend more time thinking about mortality, the vastness of the universe, and what's it all for in the grand scheme of things than anything else. I'm a terribly depressing person to be around at times, like in the end I know it doesn't matter at all. Long term everything we hold dear will cease to exist, if not for our sun ballooning and engorging the inner solar system then through Andromeda barreling into us. It reminds me of first grade when for whatever reason the teacher thought it was a good idea to tell us about the sun's expansion, of course we freaked out and then she was like "Oh don't worry we'll all be dead by then anyway." That's where it all started, thanks Mrs. Radcliffe.

Worst of all, I still can't ****ing decide on what tip I want.

The more I think about it the more it frustrates and bothers me. I freaking hate the solid axle, I've tried to be content but we just don't see eye to eye. In tight uphill or downhill turns the axle will bind and jump instead of following through the turn cleanly. Even on a remotely level surface the axle will want to hop and shimmy through sharp turns, especially when they're left-handed and surface irregularities just exasperate the issue. Which I know a Watt's link would sort the hop and shimmy through turns on more level surfaces, but I don't think anything short of an IRS conversion will take care of the binding in steep sharp turns. Sucks because otherwise I really like the car.

Pssssttttt just use more throttle till you overcome the tires, you'll pivot just fine on a bed of molten rubber.

I mean it's all things that can be handled and it's not that big a deal should you remember your back wheels are directly connected to each other, it's just annoying to have to fight it. One of the new fun roads near me there's about an 135° turn with about a 30° incline and it hops and jumps through it at speed, then the rest of the road is sweeping curves but the road surface is pretty irregular in areas. So in other words it makes the live axle rear it's ugly head through most of it.

Saw this at the store earlier while grabbing some detailer spray to use for claying:
http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotive/prod...e-squash-scent/

It actually smells pretty close to the Eikosha squash, a little brighter scented though. ICU Meguiar's, I'm onto you.

Left my small hand held OBD2 scanner on my roof, fell off when I left to go to emissions, didn't realize till I was there, came back and found it flattened in the road near my house, ordered a new one on Amazon and wasted all my accrued points on it so it only cost about 1/2. Got a Creader 8001 to replace my Creader6. It does more stuff so that's nice I guess. It also costs twice as much so no leaving this one on the roof. Almost sprung for one of the REALLY nice ones but just bought my plate sticker after passing emissions so -$100 influenced my decision greatly. Maybe some other time I'll get the fancy one and have this new one for home.

I've become a fan of the bluetooth readers you link to your phone or laptop, actually it'd be really cool to link to a tablet mounted in the center console.

I think my scanner is a Creader6. I am quite fond of that little scanner.

Yea, they work pretty well for the price. Mine would never take an update though for whatever reason but worked with 99% of vehicles. Some Nissan models gave it fits.

The 8001 can read ABS and airbag stuff as well as reset oil lights so that's a nice bonus, a few models up can reset steering angle sensors after an alignment, reset electronic parking brakes, and reset battery charging systems as well. The big shop scanner can do all that as well so I didn't bother to spend the extra money on that. They've got an interesting Android OS based scantool, but for $550 I'll wait a while on buying that one.

I put a snipe on a ebay header for my Mazda, the exhaust is getting louder up front, sounds like the flex section. I'll get all the bolts loose at work in my spare time (HAHA SPARE TIME) and make the swap at home probably or over in the aunts barn. I'm not sure if my cat flanges are healthy enough so I might get a new cat as well.

Confirmed, I have a Creader VI+. I wish it did ABS and airbag codes but it's perfect for what I use it for.
