He's going to get the Miata either tomorrow or Saturday, so will have to drive it back or the Audi. Don't think my knee could do 70 miles in the Firebird, especially since a good chunk could end up being stop and go city traffic. I think I'm more excited about it than he is.

Haha yes, it has every piece of tupperware available I think. It's in pretty good shape, 110K miles or so on it and three previous owners. Finished helping clean the interior not long ago, will help clean the exterior tomorrow. Found the Voodoo knob I had for him to borrow since the original was toast.

Now do him a PROPER HID projector retrofit with some good units, don't let him do no plug n play HID or LED bull****. I bet even the Koito Bi-LED would fit in there, great headlight projectors those things are, as good as HID but with less parts.

Just replacing the halogen bulbs for now, and will clean up the lenses tomorrow.

Today I changed the oil and rotated the tires on the 4Runner. Preventative maintenance is a must! While it was in the garage, I took the time to finish vinyl wrapping the grille and rear bumper valance. Although I still suck at vinyl wrapping, it looks much better than all silver in my opinion.

I also finally went ahead and fixed a long standing issue on the Supra. The right side license plate bolt broke off a couple of years ago and I’ve neber bothered buying a new bracket until a couple of weeks ago. Today I finally put the replacement bracket in so both bolts hold the plate in place now.



Then I went to a pawn shop to see what they had because I was bored, and bought an Amazon Echo. Useless but I always feel awkward leaving empty handed and they didn’t have anything else.

Now you’re all up to speed on my Sunday. Fascinating, isn’t it?

Pictures were pre-decoration removal today. Everything is down now, but this isn’t Walmart so I Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving.

Call me crazy but I prefer the Miata to the S2000 and MR-S. I’m not crazy about the ND either, from an aesthetic standpoint. Especially not the RF.

From looking around the biggest issue with the MR-S is the same issue with the Celica, lack of aftermarket support for suspension. The only thing with the S2000 is for what it costs you can take a Miata and fully do it up with suspension and forced induction and still have money left over, and it'll be 300-400 pounds lighter.

Box you can't look at cars with numbers hp and weight. Just get in one, drive it and if you like it buy it. **** man I have more money in the Celica than it'll ever be worth but I don't care because how I feel in it. You need to change your mindset.

Tomorrow my Subaru is going in yo have part of it's a pillar, hood and roof painted. I'll finally have a car with mostly nice paint when it's done which will feel fantastic. Just the thought of that sparked my interest in the car again.

The Supra actually just went on the battery tender for winter. We’ve still got nice weather here but I’ll take the Celica to any shows or events that come up. Gotta get it cleaned up underneath over the winter, finish installing my rear control arm bushings, repaint my intercooler pipes, and any other quick any easy projects that come up.

I'm a by the numbers kind of person, always have been. I know that's not everything, but it's something you can go off since it's factual information and not subjective opinion. I do know I like small and light cars, and that I like RWD.
