**** people. Porsche guy backed out Because "I wasn't clear." Yeah pictures and well written description must of not been clear enough idiot.

Ughh.... This is why you require a non-refundable deposit within 24 hours, so then if they back out you have their money to cover fees or you at least have proof to show eBay they fell through and never even paid the deposit. That or I've learned do it as a Buy It Now with immediate deposit required and then you either deal outside of eBay or if you do it through eBay you're covered in terms of fees.

I'm not sure if they changed it, but if you can see the bidder history you might can contact the second place bidder and see if they want it for their bid if you're ok with that price.

I did do the deposit but the idiot never paid it. I he never contacted me till today and just said, sorry info not clear, not buying car. I'm opening a case with eBay and seeing what I can do. I want to make sure that other sellers know he's bad.

So he didn't even come and at look at it? Then he's entirely full of it, what's not to be clear about what's in front of his face on the monitor? Being he didn't bother showing up to see it that helps your case a lot. What happened is he changed his mind on it...

My father's sold several cars on eBay and people usually just buy them and ship them and are very satisfied with our descriptions so it's not like we're not clear. I would of been happy to answer any question about the car either. I mean the description made it clear that the car was a well running 914 project that needed floor pans. Oh well best to move on, open up a case where eBay will deal with it and give me some money back. Car is now up on Craigslist and hopefully will sell.

Celica was broken into a couple nights ago. Not sure when as I was gone for thanksgiving and might not have noticed when I got home Sunday night, I only caught the intrusion yesterday morning. Nothing was taken, which is good as I have an amp mounted to the back seats (I took the sub out for this reason). I'm not certain that I locked the doors but I'm usually pretty good about it, I've had to break in when I've locked keys in so it's possible they did the same. The glove box was definitely locked as they broke the lock trying to get it open, and scratched it as well. Bummer. I'm heavily considering a chain for the bike so nobody walks off with it.

ebay motors is different when selling cars, and buying. he does not have to get the car. Sure you can get the money back. Block him from your auctions. but read the whole terms and rules. its not really a full contract when a car is involved

Well today was just beyond depressing. First off I had a doctor's appointment but wasn't able to drive myself because of my useless leg, so I had to be driven. Then the doctor says I need to have surgery. So woo... Just going to crawl into a dark corner and deal with the world later.

I know I read the rules, I just want the auction fees covered. I know I cannot force him to take the car but I'd at least like my fees covered and some negative repcausion for the buyer.

One my new favorite YouTube series of videos... I've learned quite a bit about other manufacturers. Here's the newest one (did MR2). Hopefully they'll do the Celica soon...

It's not so much the surgery that worries me, ok it does a little, but more so the lack of pain control after the fact. Even before the fibro I couldn't get pain relief, when I had wisdom teeth removed in high school I actually had to miss a week of school because even taking three Lortab 7.5mg at once didn't do anything at all and that's the strongest they could give for an outpatient procedure. I just writhed in pain for a week on my bed. Now when I barely bump my leg and I swear it was hit hard enough to bruise because I'm bent over in tears, and it's not even marked when I look at it. How the hell is it going to feel after surgery with no pain relief...

Hmm, a coma would be good. Hopefully it can be done laparoscopic and maybe that'll make it to where it isn't unbearable. Also I guess I just need to get over it and sell the Firebird seeing as I'll not be able to drive it any time soon.
