I need to go over the Celica but can practice on the Mazda. What did you use?

I just got a cheap PDR kit on Amazon. The black glue holds much better than the yellow glue. Just gotta be careful because it’s easy to pull the dent too far out and end up with a raised spot but if that’s the case, the little rubber pens and hammer are only $12 on Amazon. It was fairly easy to do and for that price, I feel like it’s a good kit to have around.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07HNLB9G6?p...ob_b_asin_title

Thank you. Added to my ever growing list of things to buy.

It's official, I've turned into Ferdi... IT'S THE FERDI-ING! I keep defending the merits of the Miata to my brother, who's power obsessed. Like yesterday going to get dinner the $1,000 ABS pump in the BMW started acting up again, so I said something about how it being typical of German cars. Then he was like, "German cars are the best though" and I'm like, "Yeah, best at being expensive to maintain." He goes on about "What else rides as well?" and I'm like, "The Miata, it rode better" and he says "But this has sports suspensions" and I say "But the Miata is a SPORTS CAR" so then he's all "The Miata doesn't weight anything though(not sure what this is trying to prove on his point), and it's slow." So then I say, "Not everyone is obsessed with power, you can't even use it legally most of the time anyway. It's why I'm selling the Firebird for another Miata since the engine noise is the only thing I like about it." and then he goes on about "Who ever said anything about using it legally?" and then I just have to shake my head "There's always going to be someone with more power and a faster car, it's pointless on the street to have more than what you can use legally or safely." and he just replies with "Well you can be faster than 99% of people you come across" and I just sigh as we pull into the parking lot.

Like I get it, it's nice to have power on tap when it's needed but that's so few and far between. Then most of the time you can just chillax and take a little longer getting to where you're going, versus speeding to do whatever maneuver it is you think you need to do. The only time I definitely recommend using power, and technically it's illegal, is to get around a big truck(don't **** with those) and/or away from a driver that's weaving.

So actually funny enough for the first time since starting HRT I sat in the Firebird today, being it's just a matter of wet sanding and polishing everything before putting it back together now. Which you get used to how you fit in a car and get an idea of your body in relation, and even though I noticed changes prior they really became apparent in something I could better gauge things. Though I thought maybe it was partially in my mind, since things are changing faster than what I read and was told about. I couldn't stop laughing, the car freaking swallows me now. I can put my right wrist on the edge of my left shoulder and with the nails pointing towards the window there's still at least two inches of space. On the other hand the hip bolsters squeeze the f*** out of me now and I don't have to worry about the seat belt sliding up onto my neck anymore, built in seat belt guides! Also I don't remember the dash being so huge, but it is! Oh and at least stationary without the stress of driving it the clutch didn't give my knee any problems, go figure. Now I don't have to worry about fitting into a Miata because of my shoulders, instead I have to worry about fitting because of my hips! laugh.gif So much for being able to slide by Thanksgiving without saying anything. laugh.gif

That sounds like a pretty quick change... Have you talked to the Doc to ensure that it's normal?

I go and see her at the end of July for a checkup. I think part of it is she only waited a month after starting testosterone blocker to start the estrogen, where as most will wait at least three months. Which I guess everyone is different too, some trans women hardly grow breasts and then some are just as big as any bio woman. Apparently I'm going to be the latter, and I suppose there's some correlation there to everything else changing so quick. Maybe I already had elevated estrogen levels and blocking the testosterone gave a jump start, then when starting estrogen everything has been allowed to change quicker than usual. I dunno, but I won't question it too much since the sooner the horrors of my first puberty are completely undone the better.

Funny I was kind of iffy on the whole breast thing, like not wanting huge ones to wanting some modestly sized or maybe hardly any at all. I guess all things considered it's probably better to be larger naturally, since it's more uncommon in trans women. Then again people addressed me as ma'am or miss before HRT, so I guess it's sorta moot. laugh.gif I would say I don't care, but I have inside information now and know women are all about breasts just as much as men. laugh.gif

If not more actually... Or at the least women say exactly what they think without holding back in that regard.

You know, this is honestly the last conversation I ever expected to be having on this forum, and that's just fine. You'll have to learn how to thread the seat belt between the new friends LOL.

Ok, so I need to know if this is rice. One person said yes, one person said no, I'm not sure. My wheel liners are missing some clips here and there, I'll figure what size the holes are in the fenders and install some threaded rivets and use....
https://www.ebay.com/itm/131979267328 Or whatever size I need, come in M3 and up. Eh? Eh? Rice or nice? I love my subtle red accents.

Well currently the belt will go under one and lay over the other, so it's all good. Though the rate things are growing, I mean going... That and I don't even want to think about any kind of belt harness, that'd hurt... at least at the moment. I keep brushing them and I'm like ahhhhh...

I thought you asked about doing that awhile back? Ehhh.... If you have other red exterior accents it could work. Like maybe if you used red lug nuts to tie it all in, that and/or maybe some wheel center caps that have the Toyota logo in red. Maybe the badges done in red too?

Pretty much have all that sans the red lug nuts because eww I don't want aluminum lug nuts or red finish steel ones chipping off. The center caps have red from the factory, the front logo is candy cleared in red, the rear is debadged by the CELICA emboss on the hatch has red inlay, the door sills have red inserts (JDM baby!), the horn button is a red Yamaha logo. Red all the accents!

Also for future reference I call everyone dude, not that I think you'd be offended by that but if I call you dude or man it's just a general term of friendliness. Dude, things are touchy when they're healing/growing. When I super smashed my thumb and it was healing the slightest brush against it hurt like someone was dragging gauze over an open wound. I can't even your situation, I just can't even.

Hmm, my brother has had good luck with the Muteki steel lug nuts not losing their finish. I think they're some kind of galvanized/anodized coating though so that's probably why.

Ha yes, I know dude and guy(s) is all inclusive at times so it's ok. At least my mom warned me ahead of time about all of this, but even then ahhhh. Knots form in the front of them as they grow and the best way of describing it is it's like having your testicles bumped or squeezed but 5-10 times more sensitive. I don't recall much if any testicle tenderness during puberty 1.0 so in addition to a bio girl's other changes they really have it worse during puberty, though unless you're like me and male puberty drove you to self hate and self harm.

In other news the Firebird is almost done so it can finally be sold, woooo... On a related note I've been trying to think of ways to make all of the Miata's colours work for me, well aside from Classic Red, since it's going to be really hard to pass up on a car that's in good shape for a fair price just because it isn't blue, green, or black. Especially if it's a 6-speed, which I'd prefer over the 5-speed, as they were limited outside of the Special Edition cars. Sigh, this is the world's fault for not having more RWD cars with LSD and double wishbone or multi-link suspension front and rear under 3,000 pounds. laugh.gif

Everything is changing, nothing goes untouched. Arms, legs, feet, and even hands to an extent though that's more around the wrist,,, I'm beginning to not recognize what I see and it's messing with me. Even though it's all welcome changes and I'm happy and excited about it, I guess it's bringing back the memories of trauma the first time around on some subconscious level. That and it's just...aggravating,,,in a way knowing I spent most my life in Hell for no good reason, that something could've been done and all this pain then and even now could've been prevented... How I envy the cisgender, and loathe myself for not being so... how much simpler life would be... Meh, this is all my father's fault anyway... couldn't even supply a full 23rd chromosome...****er...

I agree with Jordan.

Keep your headspace focused on the endgoal. Use this time to reflect on the trauma, and release it through the change. Think of it like wet clothes; not the most pleasant experience, but it makes you appreciate being warm and dry.

I know... I just have moments from time to time. It probably didn't help that I was in a migraine aura all day yesterday until I finally realized that's what it was and took Maxalt around 10:00 pm. Which until everything is done and I'm not physically and mentally struggling with them on a daily basis I guess it's just to be expected.

You're allowed your moments. Migranes definitely don't help.

Just try not to let your exceptions become the norm.

Also, this is completely outside my sphere of knowledge so I can't offer much expertise and I doubt most here can. However rant, vent, talk, discuss, educate, and enlighten all you want. This thread is your thread after all! Now it's more of a philosophical question "where's box?"

I try, and overall I've been WAAYYYY better off as a whole now than I ever have. It's just that intense anticipation to reach the end goal, and it's sooo hard to be patient when it's sooo close now.

Haha, I suppose. Though it's supposed to be a thread for everyone. I wish I could change my username here, I'm tired of Box as it's my father's surname and I honestly want nothing to do with it any longer... Sigh... I like my first name though, Casey. My mom chose it, though when I was younger it bothered me since every other Casey I ever met was a bio girl. Ha... all these years and the unisex name is finally paying off. I can't tell you how much easier it makes getting estrogen and testosterone blocker with the name Casey, or getting my name called out at the doctor and psychiatrist.
