I've been buying 215/40/17 Falken 512s for about four years now. Pretty soon, I'll be due for new tread and was going to size up to 225/45/17 (the 215s look too stretched on my 17x8s). I was going to do some tire research myself, but I also wanted to know what tires you guys use and if you'd recommend any different brands/models. I'd like to hover around a similar price point.

Thanks, guys. Anything that Discount Tire stocks would be a plus. I'm a sucker for their warranties.

I ran 225/45 17 falken 512s for a few years also, I recently got some Cooper RS-3a tires and I'd say I like them way better then the 512s for the price. The 215 in cooper actually fits wider then the 225 falkens, but I had them on 17x7
