Not sure how much you're looking to spend, but try car-parts.com, nationwide database of auto recyclers and salvage that will list any in your area, some even have mileage listed and are graded by condition. And some places will ship

If you're willing to make a little road trip, I'm selling mine, with everything that was on it ( transmission, ac pump, ps pump, alternator )

I'm close to Montreal, Qc... everything goes for 350$

I would love to, but at that point i may as well settle for another one closer, would you sell just the engine? and would you ship?

Yes it would be possible for me, but i don't know about the shipping cost! If you can manage the shipping part, i'll take care of removing everything around the engine.

dano,. I'm a Michigan resident too, and can tell you the 5fse can be had for about $250 all over our state,. There are at least 5 at the u-pull near me South of Lansing.

If you have the time to pull one, I'm sure I could help you,. otherwise, checkout clrds.com and setup a couple searches for Celica's and Camry's for less than 1000 and you will find plenty that are parting them out, many of which will pull the motor for you for $300,.

Worst case scenario, I can pull you a motor and bring it to you, but that will cost you closer to 400,. Or I've got a 5fse sitting in one of my project cars right now, but it has 240k miles on it already, I could sell it to you but would recommend a full rebuild before doing anything with it.

Where are you in Michigan, and how much do you have to spend? 200, 300, 400 more?

a few I found for you,. several are full cars, with issues,.

parting a camry with 2.2 http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/ptd/4701647975.html

probably a 5fse $280 http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/pts/4700288651.html

good engine - http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/ptd/4650491848.html

running camry bad trans $450 - http://annarbor.craigslist.org/cto/4662010016.html - pull motor then scrap for 300-350 motor costs 150

camry runs good needs work 600 - http://lansing.craigslist.org/cto/4651078921.html

Again on the ones that are in cars, most of the mi u-pulls pay around 200-300 for a car being scrapped, so if you put 400 in to the car, pull the motor then scrap it you come out only paying 100-200 for a motor.

Wow, i cannot thank you enough, somehow i missed these golden ads, i got ahold of the $280 camry motor option, they guy told me it is in fact the 2.2, ran when pulled, and can be picked up whenever, i will be going down to GR friday night at the latest. I'm hoping this guy in SE Grand Rapids is honest about it running when pulled. If everything falls in place just perfectly, you will find me on my "longevity" thread in the projects section making my celica that of the gods, the average, slow, cool-looking gods.

P.S. Sandusky, if you are in need of any parts, let me know, they're yours. I've a bit a of a graveyard of good parts around here.

The guy was pretty cool, almost home with the motor now, was an auto, came with most of an auto wiring harness. This whole project took a turn, thank you again for finding me options
