Hi Guys and Girls , I am new to the site. I have a question , although I have owned a couple of st205s before I never had to change the suspension . Now after many years it is time to get another one. I will be picking it up on Saturday . The front super strut needs to be changed . My question is: Can I replace the super strut with anything else rather forking out a few hundred quid for the super strut? Thanks in advance. Max

You can convert it to Mcpherson from the st202s mate. Several lads have done this here in Ireland, involves a fair amount of parts steering struts, hubs sorting calipers and discs etc. If you're willing to invest time to do it right now it'll save you with superstrut down the line

Converting to McPherson will cost you more than replacing the superstrut, superstrut is a much better system anyway for a road car. There is an option to buy refurbished parts from GT4 Racing in Poland considerably cheaper than buying parts from toyota, Another option........I got a full superstrut system a couple of weeks ago from TCBParts for about £800 ish, all brand new toyota parts. Great service from them
