Experienced members of 6gc,

I'd like to see where you have placed your injection nozzles. Specifically on 3rd gen setups with w2a. It looks like I'll have to drill the chargecooler, but I don't want to do that if I don't have to

I feel that drilling the throttle body will bring the spray too close to the butterfly. I'm picturing the spray cone hitting the flap at WOT. What's this about samco hoses? any pictures?

Thanks for the photos. Damn that's close to the butterfly.

Is the throttle body like this the best place when doing it with a fmic setup (not the w2a)? Probably going to buy a devils own soon, only a few hundred and the peace of mind will be great.

Apparently its a good idea to be at least a few inches up stream of the throttle body to give the water/meth time to vaporize. You also dont want the butterfly to interfere with the spray cone at WOT

I placed mine where the EGR valve used to be on my 5s IM. I have a block off plate there that I drilled and tapped for the nozzle. It's after the TB.

Correct, and ideally you want that phase change cooling upstream of the IAT if possible so that the ECM can take that into account with the fuel and timing maps.

But this article has some really neat information about injecting it right into the inlet of the turbo!

Any concerns with the BOV? (FMIC)
My BOV is about 10" from the TB. If I placed it before the BOV could the water get in there and mess with how it seals or something along those lines?
Just curious. I will probably will mount the nozzle after the BOV (closer to the TB), but just curious on your thoughts

I don't really think it matters. If you think about it, the nozzle should shut down before the BOV starts to open. The nozzle opens under boost, and the BOV under vacum. There's a spot between both events where neither is operating (happens really fast though) so I wouldn't really worry about it. If you wanted to be picky, I'd put the BOV before the nozzle.
