so i took a gamble, before i get a new alternator, i found this company that sells just the regulator. Toyota does not make this a replaceable part.
B993A145  it was such a pain, that my bay looked like this... 3B956B30  radiator has to come out! also... B164390C  it may look good, but the orange peel!! ugh... well alternator crapped out. had to order another one... voltage fluctuates, battery does not charge. bummer

Alternator fixed!! Got a rav4 alt. It works. And figured out why!!
